c melody sax case

i just bought a vintage c melody sax. the horn is in great condition. the case...not so much. i just ordered a tenor sax gig bag. did i do the right thing, or will i be making a return?

any advice appreciated,

The tenor bag will fit, you will just have some extra room. If you wanted something with more protection, you could get something like this DEG C-Melody Sax Case. This DEG will be much heavier than the tenor bag you just ordered though.
