The Crown XLS1000 power amp's multiple inputs give it the capability to plug in just about anything and play just about anywhere. This kind of flexibility makes the Crown XLS1000 power amp one you can configure any way you need to. |

At less than 12 lbs the Crown power amp packs in DriveCore Technology, a PureBand Crossover System, and Peakx limiters. DriveCore is a hybrid analog-digital integrated circuit that drives the front end of the output stage. The PureBand Crossover System offers you the ability to select any crossover point between 50Hz and 3kHz on 1/12 octave centers. Four crossover modes provide ultimate flexibility to cover all your needs. Peakx limiters are based on an advanced Crown algorithm specifically developed and tuned to work with XLS amplifiers and their power-supply for higher SPL with less audible artifacts. You get less distortion, fewer shutdowns, and maximum safe power to your speakers. The Peakx limiters can easily be turned on or off by channel from the front panel. No need to dig around in the back of your rack in the dark. Yet the XLS1000 power amp remains affordable. The Crown XLS1000 power amp's XLR, 1/4", and RCA inputs provide outstanding setup flexibility. The 1/4" Inputs can be used as loop-thrus to distribute signal to additional amplifiers. Efficient forced-air fans prevent excessive thermal buildup. |
